Nicholas Soames this afternoon visited patients and took the book trolley around the Princess Royal Hospital to show his support for Volunteers’ Week.

Nicholas Soames said; “I was delighted to be asked to celebrate Volunteers’ Week which is a superb event to show appreciation for the invaluable work of volunteers.

“Last week my Party secured an Opposition Day Debate to mark Carers’ Week and Volunteers’ Week to underline the need to ensure that the fewest possible barriers are placed before those wanting to volunteer and act as carers.”
