SOAMES VISITS COVERS

Burgess Hill MP, Nicholas Soames, today visited the local timber and builders merchants, Covers, to hear about the “Get Britain Building” campaign.

Terry Lace, Depot Manager and Directors, Rupert Green and Henry Green took Mr Soames around the site at Fairfield Road and explained to him about the campaign which is a coalition of organisations from within the construction sector, who are calling for the creation of a new business environment to help the UK construction industry thrive and prosper in these difficult times.

Nicholas Soames said; “I was very impressed with the amount of stock Covers holds and the services it offers. The current economic climate has had a significant impact on the construction industry and I commend Covers for its active role in this campaign.”
