Sir Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many helicopters by type are allocated to the Commando Helicopter Force.

Mike Penning, Minister of State for the Armed Forces: The Commando Helicopter Force has six Wildcat Attack Helicopter Mark1 and 25 Merlin Mark 3 helicopters.

DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT
