Following a meeting in Haywards Heath last Friday with representatives of the Association of Residents of Roads off Wealden Way and the Bolnore Village Residents and Ashenground Residents Associations about the proposed further developments at Bolnore Village, Nicholas Soames has written to the Mid Sussex District Council and to the Government Office for the South East (GOSE) about the very serious problems potentially relating to contractors’ access to the site and the layout proposed by the developers and its infringement on the ancient woodland and meadows.
Mr Soames said; “I have urged the District Council to consider with the greatest care the very detailed and knowledgeable representations made by my constituents on these matters and to reflect on the powerful evidence they have submitted.
“I am impressed by the evidence they have produced which I am sure the Council will wish to consider with great detail.”
Mr Soames accepts that the residents are not against further development but are extremely anxious about the question of access and other important environmental and infrastructure questions.
