Nicholas Soames today met the Area Development Manager of the Post Office to discuss the future of the Post Office in East Grinstead.

Mr Soames said; “I am quite satisfied that the Post Office is committed to retaining full facilities in East Grinstead. The situation is not an easy one to resolve and I pressed upon them the urgent need to ensure that these valuable facilities are maintained for local people.

“I am satisfied that they are doing everything that they can to see this is the case. I will be liaising with them next week.”
