RAIL CHAOS
Nicholas Soames MP, had a good discussion yesterday with Claire Perry MP; Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, about the service currently afflicting the East Grinstead line.
Mr Soames said; “The Minister was well aware of the intolerable inconvenience caused to hard pressed commuters and I will be taking a delegation to see the Minister in January.
“The service has just not got any better and although the Operator does have difficulties it is just simply not managing it properly.
“As I have said before this is a management and leadership issue which we will be discussing with the Minister in January”.
