Nicholas Soames has visited this morning the exhibition at East Grinstead Library on the draft Area Action Plan consultation and he has attended a meeting of the Local Action Team for the Stone Quarry Estate to discuss outstanding issues relating to the quality of life of local residents.

Nicholas Soames said; “We had an extremely useful meeting at Stone Quarry which will lead to follow up work. We discussed the question of the community centre and outstanding issues of law enforcement and local government enforcement and I have willingly agreed to hold a surgery in St Lukes Church at a date to be arranged which I hope will be of use to the Stone Quarry community.

“I think the situation at Stone Quarry is much improved but there are issues which need to be resolved and I look forward to working with the Local Action Team towards that end.”
