Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence for which enduring tasks the Royal Navy was required to withdraw assets during the Libyan operations. [128706]

Dr Murrison, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence: During the operations in Libya the Royal Navy reprioritised a number of its assets, some of which were nominally allocated to standing or contingent enduring tasks. A range of mitigation measures were put in place to manage any resultant impact on operations.
