Nicholas Soames hosted a reception for 300 invited guests of the National Trust on the terrace of the House of Commons on Tuesday 24th July.
The celebration was to mark the 100th anniversary of the passing of the National Trust Act 1907.
Nicholas Soames said; “As a member of the Council of the National Trust I was delighted to host this afternoon reception to celebrate such a worthwhile event.
“The National Trust goes from strength to strength with 3.5 million members and a visionary but practical agenda for the future.
“The founding fathers and mothers would be proud of its achievements.”
