Mr Francois, Minister of State for the Armed Forces: The Ministry of Defence's top-level governance framework, including its approach to internal controls and risk management, is set out in the document “How Defence Works”, a copy of which is available in the Library of the House. As part of our work to implement Lord Levene's 'Defence Reform' recommendations and reach Full Operating Capability for the Department's new delegated operating model in the spring, we are currently considering potential improvements to the Department's internal control, risk management, and assurance frameworks. The outcome of this work will be incorporated in the next edition of 'How Defence Works', which is expected to be published in the spring, and a copy will be placed in the Library of the House.
