Nicholas Soames co-signs a letter to the leaders of the three main Political Parties.

The letter which was drafted by the charity, Save the Children, calls on the Party Leaders to reiterate strong, cross-Party support for the principle of responsibility to protect citizens. The UK has long championed this principle, which means that when a Government is unable or unwilling to protect its own civilian population from genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity the international community has a responsibility and obligation to respond.
