Nick Harvey MP; Minister of State for the Armed Forces: The UK is committed to non-proliferation under the terms of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the cornerstone of the international security architecture. We continue to call on all states that have not yet done so to accede to the NPT as non-nuclear-weapon states.

The UK supports the principle of free access to and use of outer space in accordance with the 1967 Outer Space Treaty.
