Nicholas Soames said: “I am delighted to be opening this refurbished post office. It looks very modern and professional. It is a major transformation. The open-plan counters make it far easier for customers and staff to talk to each other. This post office is vital to the local community and I am confident that the improvements will be warmly welcomed by my constituents. Opening on Saturday afternoon will be very convenient for customers to do their Post Office transactions.”
