Nicholas Soames and Councillor Pru Moore met at the site of the Gas Holder Station in Leylands Road in Burgess Hill as part of Councillor Pru Moore’s campaign to reclaim the site for residential development.

Nicholas Soames said; “I am pleased to support Pru Moore’s energetic and excellent campaign and I have written to the Minister of State at the Department for Communities and Local Government on her behalf to see what funding might be available.”

Councillor Pru Moore said; “We must find a way to resolve this matter and Nicholas Soames and I are determined to do what we can to find a way ahead for the benefit of the local community.”
