SOAMES SPEAKS IN WATER SHORTAGES DEBATE
Mid Sussex Member of Parliament, Nicholas Soames, held a meeting on local infrastructure requirements at East Court in East Grinstead on Friday 17th March.
Mid Sussex MP, Nicholas Soames, has launched a strong attack on the Labour Government to coincide with National Pensions Day on the 18th March.
In 1997 West Sussex County Council mounted a very high profile campaign together with the local MPs, to try to prevent the Labour Government from increasing the number of houses to be built in the county by an extra 12,800.
We are alarmed at the treatment Sussex Police Authority has received in the recent government finance settlement. This is the latest in a line of difficult and damaging settlements for the police and for Sussex in particular.
