Nicholas Soames and Nick Herbert this afternoon attended a rally of the All Party Local Hospital Group at Westminster at which the following message was delivered to the Secretary of State for Health;
Commenting on newspaper reports that many local hospitals have been put on red alert Nicholas Soames said; "This action substantiates entirely the case that we have been making over the hospitals and our local health services.
Mid Sussex MP, Nicholas Soames, today reacted with grave concern at Government plans to close 2,500 Post Offices across the country, on top of the 4,000 already shut since 1999.
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to the Middy for its vigorous backing of the Support the Princess Royal Hospital march last month.
Nicholas Soames MP this week urged action to safeguard the county's remaining Post Offices and protect vital community facilities. The call comes as 1,000 sub-postmasters marched on Parliament on 18 October protesting at Post Office closures.
Nicholas Soames has donated six trees this year for the enjoyment of local people in Burgess Hill as a compensation for the carbon emissions from his constituency office and the work in the community.
