The table above includes all Army personnel posted to Royal Military Police units regardless of their cap badge. The Military Provost Staff Regiment forms part of 1 Military Police Brigade but is not included above as it is not a Royal Military Police regiment or unit. They currently consist of 240 Army personnel.

Data is for trained and untrained Army personnel. The data provided is for Regular and Volunteer Reserve only; all other groups have been excluded.

Figures have been rounded to the nearest 10. Numbers ending in 5 have been rounded to the nearest multiple of 20 to prevent systematic bias.

Totals and sub-totals have been rounded separately and so may not equal the sum of their rounded parts.

“-” denotes zero or rounded to zero.
