“We are incredibly lucky to be blessed with such an amazing assortment of these wonderful gardens and I hope very much that residents and tourists will take advantage this Spring to see them at their wonderful best.

“These are places of incomparable beauty which sit in harmony with the countryside and indeed are created to be an integral part of its living and working fabric.

“Indeed they themselves have always helped our hard-pressed rural economy in surrounding areas.

“We are so privileged to live and have our lives in Mid Sussex, which itself lies at the heart of some of the most glorious parts of the English countryside, and to spend time in such beautiful places always raises the spirits and leaves indelible memories.
