HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY MOUNTED REGIMENT

Sir Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of the cost of building a new barracks to relocate the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment within London; and if he will make a statement.

Mark Lancaster, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State and Minister for Defence Personnel and Veterans: The Ministry of Defence has commissioned a review into reprovision of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment that will investigate, amongst other things, the issues raised by the right hon. Member.
