Sir Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how many (a) locally engaged and (b) UK-based staff worked in each overseas post in financial years (i) 2000-01, (ii) 2005-06, (iii) 2010-11 and (iv) 2014-15.

Mr Tobias Ellwood, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office: It is not possible to provide a breakdown of UK based and Locally Engaged Staff prior to 2012/13.

DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT

Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election on 12th December and there are now no MPs. This website is for reference of my work when I was a Member of Parliament.
