Sir Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will undertake an evaluation of the effectiveness of the Primary Care Support Service contract outsourced by NHS England to Capita; and if he will make a statement.

David Mowatt, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Community Health and Care: NHS England is ensuring that the Department is informed of progress to rectify issues with the contract, and the overall effectiveness of the services provided.
