Mr Willetts, Minister of State (Minister for Universities and Science), Department for Business, Innovation and Skills: (a) There are 485 Natural Environment Research Council employees working for BAS.
(b) The Net Book Value (NBV) of BAS property is £140,648,000 (taken from the fixed asset register as at 31 March 2012).
