AFGHANISTAN

Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what estimate he has made of the value of equipment that will be left in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of British troops. [136778]

Mr Robathan, Minister of State for Defence: The Ministry of Defence is still in the process of determining what pieces of equipment and materiel should be repatriated from Afghanistan and what should be left in the country. We are therefore currently unable to give accurate figures for the value of the equipment that will not be repatriated.
