AFGHANISTAN

Nicholas Soames: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent estimate he has made of the cost of repatriating equipment back to the UK following the withdrawal of British troops from Afghanistan. [136235]

Mr Dunne, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence: The Ministry of Defence is still in the process of determining what pieces of equipment and materiel should be repatriated from Afghanistan, and by what means. We are therefore currently unable to give accurate figures for the cost of doing so.
